The almost, but not really Today show.

We tried.  We ran for three buses, and I mean sprinted (full volunteer uniform, backpack strapped on, late for the most important meeting of your life, it's the 100 meter finals--okay, maybe not the last one).  The drivers laughed, we didn't see the humor in the situation.

We found the Olympic trading pins, and the men who trade and collect for their career.  Spending 16 days at the Olympics, and then the other days inbetween selling the new pins on Ebay.  Diane, my friend and recent, jobless grad, wants to do this.

After walking the length of the IBC (International Broadcasting Center- where Matt, Anne, Al, and Meredith were waiting) to the Bird's Nest, as well as asking multiple help volunteers and getting the same response of confusion, we headed in a cab for home.  We didn't have the right credentials to see the Today show. We were tired and a little disappointed.  I had even brought an IOWA shirt to wave.
