The next big adventure.

Larry, my fellow trip leader for the Everglades and Wilderness First Responder classmate, a trusty source, told me months ago that he had a friend that camped on the Great Wall.  Really?  It was a challenge I knew that moment I'd have to do while I was living in Beijing for over two months.  Once in China, I spent weeks trying to recruit a few friends to join me.  Finally my undying pleas were heard.  Sunday night, after training, three friends and I, including a co-volunteer from Mexico, are heading out to an unrestored section of the wall.  We plan on bringing snacks, hiking shoes, and some sheets from our dorm bed.  I can't wait.
